Kjartan Darri Kristjánsson útskrifaðist með BA gráðu í leiklist frá Listaháskóla Íslands árið 2015. Eftir útskrift fór hann að vinna hjá Leikfélagi Akureyrar og lék í sýningunum Pílu Pínu og Helga magra. Darri hefur verið hluti af fjölda uppsetninga í sjálfstæðu leikhússenunni sem leikari, myndbanda, hljóð og ljósahönnuður. Meðal verkefna má nefna: Endastöð-Upphaf með Lab Loka, Natan með Aldrei Óstelandi í uppsetningu Borgarleikhússins, Fyrirlestur um eitthvað fallegt með SmartíLab, Hans Blær með Óskabörnum Ógæfunnar í Tjarnarbíó og How to Become Icelandic in 60 minutes sem hefur verið sýnt yfir 800 sinnum í tónlistarhúsinu Hörpu. Darri var tilnefndur til Grímuverðlauna fyrir lýsingu ársins í sýningunni Þórbergur.

Kjartan Darri Kristjánsson graduated with a BA degree in acting from Iceland University of the Arts in 2015. Following his graduation he started working at Leikfélag Akureyrar and played in i.e. Píla Pína and Helgi Magri. He has been a part of multiple theatre productions in the independent performance scene in Iceland as an actor and in video, sound and light design. Endastöð - Upphaf staged by Lab Loki, Lecture on something beautiful staged by SmartíLab, Hún Pabbi staged by Reykjavík City Theater, Hans Blær staged by Óskabörn Ógæfunnar and How to become Icelandic in 60 minutes which has been performed over 800 times in Harpa. Kjartan Darri was nominated to the Icelandic Theater Price, Gríman, for light design in Þórbergur.
